  Vast area with stunning views, quiet countryside. We have spent a lot of time exploring here. It's well worth a visit.

  Beautiful mountain and great views of the surrounding areas, including the sea on two sides if you get to the top. However watch out because trail markings are a bit faded. Also look up the route to the starting point first because they're not very well indicated on the surrounding roads.

  We live just to the north side of the Montgo mountain and enjoy walking on the Carretera de la Colonia which is gravel path about 1/3 of the way up the mountain. There are a couple of sets of caves that can be accessed from the path after a steep climb. On a clear day Ibiza is visible. The path is also accessible on a mountain bike.The only downside is that people do not always clear up after their dogs!

  Beautiful and varied views. Has multiple routes to the top with surprising variety of atmosphere from fairly steep and rugged too shrouded in trees and in spring surround by flowers. I go uo it about once a week. Takes between 2 to 5 hours depending on route to get on top of the mountain and back

  Great open space outside Javea, you can take in several scenic walks albeit with some ascent which may put off a few people. Often you c are able to follow designated walking routes that are way marked with posts and rocks that have coloured stripes to show the way.
